Spanish, the new lingo for BPO
If India has to maintain its supremacy in BPO and its software workforce, then BPO India has to learn a new language; Spanish. With India already stamping its superiority in the BPO sector with its knowledge of the English language, it now needs just one other language that will make the world its market, which is Spanish, which is spoken in 24 countries.
Philippines, which is also attracting lots of BPO jobs, is in direct competition with India. And so the knowledge of Spanish language is very vital. People in India are multilingual and hence should not have a problem in learning the language. If India becomes fluent in this language, then BPO India will become stronger then ever.
