BPO India cool on knowledge

BPO India has a USP, which is knowledge and if sticks to that and also keeps updating and learning skills such as customer handling, communication, telesales, then India could easily become the leader in the BPO arena.

The BPO industry in India already has a rich and vast pool of human resource, and now it all needs to do is to recruit the right kind of people and train them properly. The attrition rate being so high in the BPO India industry, it would have to follow few international recruitment practices to arrest the rate of attrition in this industry. Anti-poaching agreements though are non-instrumental in curbing attrition rate.

The BPO industry in India has certain advantages, which it will have to build upon, such as cost factor, geographical location, good employee pool, a small learning curve. But the only thing that it has to keep in mind is, that it will have to manage the high aspirations of the highly qualified employees pool, so that it can retain them on a consistent basis.
