Viteos grabbed Goldman Sachs BPO account
The BPO Industry of India scored another vital deal in its bag. Goldman Sachs – the global Investment Bankers with operations in 23 countries has opened their global BPO facility center in Bangalore. The company has reported to shift almost 250 jobs to India within next 18 months. Viteos a BPO arm of software firm Velankanni Software has grabbed the accounts for Goldman Sachs.
While some major trade shifts are taking place within BPO in India, the Confederation of India Industry (CII) organized ‘BPO: The Way Forward’ – a seminar in Visakhapatnam. The issue of discussion was the the gradual progress of Andhra Pradesh as one the hottest BPO destination in India. Researchers and analysts like McKinsey and Nasscom believes that the BPO market in India — now at over a billion dollars — will grow to between $20-24 billion by next five years.
