The dynamic growth of the BPO Industry in India has taken the corporate world by storm. Experts – though unwillingly – have placed India as the emerging corporate powerhouse for the coming years. And in recent years BPO in India has played a significant role in building up an imperative economic structure. BPO in India has been attracting major Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) especially from United States. The economical cost of manpower, exceptional IT infrastructure and horde of talented professionals altogether combines to produce the exceptional growth seen in BPO Industry in India.

While BPO in India is luring tremendous amount of outsourcing business from US as well as Europe – industry expert believes that there are certain measures needed to be implemented for strengthening of the industry. Primarily the small BPO players in the market should head for consolidation, as the major players will dominate the future. Another aspect is to produce professionals specialized in voice modules and interactive technology especially for call center pros. At the moment the workforce majorly constitutes of fresh graduates and lot of money is been spent on them. Trained professionals will save not only money but time as well. Several other measures - still to be mentioned – can change the facet of the BPO industry in India.
