Promantra finds BPO lucrative: Set up a facility in H’bad
Hyderabad (India) based Promantra Synergies Solutions Limited opened its plans today to pierce into the lucrative BPO sector flourishing in India. The company would invest close to $ 5.5 million initially for the new facility and is likely to pour another $3.3 million in the next year. Promantra will focus to tap US Healthcare companies as its potential clientele. In the first phase Promantra would handle all of the $100 million in revenues of Adamson's companies' financial functions at the back-office in India. The move by Promantra is yet another indicator of the paramount growth for the Indian BPO Industry.
BPO sector in India has more than 150 outsourcing service providers with the likes of Spectramind (Wipro), Daksh, EXL-Services amongst others. BPO in India boast revenues close to $2 billion annually. The ITES-BPO industries are spurring growth and IT spends in India. BPO in India has also helped bolstering the Indian economy, which - only today - went past 4000-mark – a 30-month high.
