India looking for major growth in BPO-ITES
The ITES and BPO Industry in India are on course for a lavishing growth in the future years. NASSCOM - the nodal agency that monitors India’s software and IT sector is considering that BPO industry will continue to achieve vigorously and annual growth (CAGR) for another four to five years is expected close to 50%. India already boasts a healthy IT infrastructure and plying BPO services through that is always a profitable deal.
Indian BPO industry is undoubtedly flourishing and needs some practical assistance from the regulatory authorities to make the service better and cheaper. Some Asian destinations like Philippines are emerging fast as the likely competitor for India in near future. Even yesterday the department of telecom in India is thinking about allowing long-distance operators to use common infrastructure for domestic as well as international call centers to minimize cost. The move [if applicable] will boost BPO in India by another margin – to make it most desired outsourcing destination for the corporate firms in US and the Europe.
