ICICI- OneSource acquires FirstRing

ICICI OneSource - the business service provider offering offshore transact processing and contact center services has announced its plan for acquisition of FirstRing – a Bangalore based 650-seat facility. Though the exact deal is not yet disclosed – but ICICI- OneSource will acquire FirstRing’s Indian and US operations along with clients and manpower.

The deal will give a boost to the existing BPO industry in India – which is going through a golden phase of economic buildup. Already BPO in India is mantra for successful businessmen in US and Europe. More and more offshore outsourcing deals are pegged almost everyday depicting the strong infrastructure that India has developed in last few years.
