E-bookers set to triple its manpower in India

Europe’s largest on-line travel agent ‘e-bookers’ is tripling the size of its Indian back-office operation. The company at the moment employees around 640 people at their New Delhi facility center and they plans to increase by almost 2000 people. E-bookers have claimed that the company has saved a hefty 1.4 million pounds in last three months by instigating its India BPO operations as the massive operational cost is brought down to minimum. BPO in India has certainly made immense progress as several top-notch firms from Europe and US have been thriving to shift their Business Process Outsourcing facility to India.

The most significant achievement for BPO industry in India is its skyrocketing progress during last few years. India has enabled to build a dynamic framework for the promotions of BPO industry – that includes - tapping the pool of the talented professionals; building a BPO enabled IT infrastructure and flexing the norms for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
