BPO Players makes move to tackle attrition

While the BPO Industry in India is on a rampaging growth – the greatest setback for the BPO players can be evaluated as the high attrition rate. BPO jobs usually attract young people. Majority of the employees in a BPO organization are at a stage when they wish to take up higher education while continuing their jobs. In most of the cases when the students are finds the educational platform they tend to quit the job.

As such BPO in India is facing with peculiar problem of attrition. Though to counter such a situation several BPO firms in India are making negotiations with B-Schools to improve the talent of their employees and also retain them for long time. The employee attrition rate within the BPO industry in India is estimated to be 30-40 percent, which is alarmingly high.

Yet the Indian BPO Industry is on a roll. Fresh negotiations, deals are almost heard everyday. More and more western corporate firms are willing to outsource business to India. The estimate level of growth for the industry is very high and BPO in India is a sigh against the high unemployment rate in India.
