New Moves in BPO industry in India

German banking giant Deutsche Bank proclaimed to instigate 50 member BPO services center in India by commencing Deutsche Network Services Pvt. Ltd in Bangalore for payment and cash management functioning. The company plans to extend in workforce in future to strengthen their operations.

IT major Cognizant Technology Solutions' is also planning for BPO segment by then end of 2003. Mr. N. Lakshmi Narayanan, President & COO of Cognizant Technology Solutions desire to seek a sustainable presence in the BPO segment in India. Cognizant Technology currently employs around 6,500 people. The figure is expected to go up to 7,800-8,000 people by year-end of 2003.

BPO industry in India is on an upsurge. Indian Software tycoon had also shown interest to diversify to offer business process outsourcing (BPO) services to multinational clients in future.
