EXL Services opens its fourth BPO facility in India

Sunnyvale, CA based BPO service provider EXL Services - a Delaware Corporation - is pouring US$7 million to expand its operation in India by declaring to open its fourth service facility. The fourth facility will be set-up in Pune and the first phase of expansion will be completed by January 2004. The move from EXL came as the company has recently grabbed three BPO contacts from three clients in the US and UK.

BPO industry in India is continually soaring as more and more contracts are materializing. BPO in India is presently strongest in terms of achieving outsourcing business from offshore clients. This indicates the strong economical perspective for BPO’s in India. A Business Process Outsourcing [BPO] Foundation of India – BFI – was constituted few days ago to constantly monitor and direct the activities of the BPO industry in India as the BPO sector is growing tremendously.
