24x7 Customer Pours $22 m in Financing
There was some ground shifting at the BPO industry in India. 24x7 Customer - a Business Process Outsourcing firm, declared today that it has secured $22 million in financing. The BPO service providing firm has operations in Bangalore and Hyderabad in India. The fund would be used for worldwide expansion that may also comprise of acquisition of other BPO firms. The profit making 24x7 Customer may also look for key sales initiative. The firm provides BPO services to several companies worldwide – which also include some Fortune 500 firms.
There were also some other major moves within BPO in India. Satyam Computer, a leading solutions and service providing company is poised to invest $20 million in Nipuna Service its BPO ally. With an investment of $4 million by Satyam, Nipuna came to existence last year and now provides BPO facilities to its various clients. The major alteration within BPO in India indicates the Indian stronghold in the sector.
