Finally, the changing trends are catching up to the large as well as small organizations and they’re soon realizing that it is necessary to outsource their IT infrastructure to the Indian BPO industry. Earlier it was more than evident that the outsourcing industry in India was engaged in activities like maintaining the LANs, managing servers, etc. However, due to the growing demands of US and UK companies, BPO industries in India are looking forward to providing outsourcing services that would satisfy all the IT infrastructural needs of their clients.
This changing scenario in the BPO industry can easily be seen by the recent deal made by Bharti Telecom with IT bigwig IBM which is a $750 million contract for a period of ten years. One thing to understand here is that UK and US clients are not choosing India simply because of the cost effective factor. It also helps them to spread their operations much faster thereby taking care of their expansion and diversification needs. Outsourcing to India is here to stay since most organizations are satisfied with the value and the quality of services offered to them by the Indian BPOs. This simply means that IT outsourcing to India is one factor that acts as a business and economical growth catalyst.
