Brits prefer BPO in India
BPO in India is not only preferred by major US firms but also by the British corporate houses according to Mike O'Brien, British Minister for Foreign and Commonwealth Office. This he conferred during a symposium held at London discussing India’s commercial perspective in 2003 and beyond.
It is well understood in the global standpoint that if the companies needs to outsource business, India stands as their first choice. Various dynamics needed for cost-effective Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) are available in India. India is also lauded as the new emergence in the offshore outsourcing center.
Last few days saw India a happening place in terms of MNC outsourcing or expanding their Indian facilities. HCL, GE Capitals, Philips, Indian Rayon (buying TransWorks) were all in news within last 10-15 days. Despite of US states filing petition to ban outsourcing in India, BPO in India have been thriving upon the preferences of the MNC looking forward to cut their cost and utilize their precious time for major business development.
